End of the Semester Mid-Semester Review

Ok so this blog post was intended to be a mid-semester review of the New Media and Marketing course. Obviously, since it's final's week it's going to be an end of the semester review of the course :P

Being that I'm an Audio Production major, when I first heard that I'd have to take a media management class I whined and complained and just wasn't looking forward to it at all. It's probably important to know how to make yourself marketable in the media industry, but I figured I could just wing it.
As it turns out, I wound up finding the class really interesting and relevant especially when it comes to marketing myself and looking for jobs. I liked learning about different business strategies and all the various approaches to online marketing. Once you have a professional website up, people are going to see it and will be able to access it constantly. If that's what you're going to have up to represent you as a professional so you'd better make it good. You're going to want people to want to hire you.

The most valuable thing I have taken from this class, are pointers on how to do that and for that I am grateful.

Overall, I thought the class was really well organized and that the work load was fair. There's not really anything I could suggest to improve the class. I think you nailed it, Shanshan.
